The Water
The springs issue from the base of the Big Hole Mountains at 115°, a little east of the building, about five cubic feet a second. Bob Thueson piped it down the hill in 1944 and it has run to the pools ever since.
It carries magnesium, lime and a trace of iron, with no sulfur, so there is no smell. Soaking in it is believed to help with arthritis and aching muscles, and the family will tell you it does.
